“Artist cleans up to recall laundry site”, a row of Washing Machines is cleaning up on the side of a Filton shop. Artist Rodney Harris created the intriguing row from glazed bricks, the artwork commemorates the once flourishing laundry. Audrey Tanner, granddaughter of the Director of the laundry said “It’s a delightful and interesting way to remember the laundry.”
